NSG jawans were seen taking action on the ground in black uniform, in full gear. The public was stopped from entering certain areas during the drill to ensure smooth and safe operations.This drill develops better coordination between local law enforcement and National Commandos, which can save any life in a real emergency and can become a real life-saver. This time the NSG anti-terrorism drill is being conducted at a very advanced level in Trichy, with the focus on hostage rescue and emergency coordination. The state and central governments together plan such exercises at regular intervals so that the city-level preparedness remains high.
